# Moca Network Governance

$MOCA token serves as the governance token for the Moca Network. By holding $MOCA, network participants can have their say about foundational elements of the network which include:

* Creation and adoption of infrastructure and standards shared by the Network
* Supporting the adoption of $MOCA in consumer applications to drive $MOCA utility and interoperability across the verticals of gaming, entertainment, IP building, and more
* Scaling $MOCA influence in the cultural sphere
* Setting DAO governance parameters
* Creating opportunities for $MOCA and other token inflow into the DAO treasury
