What is the Moca DAO?

The Moca DAO is an online community that will drive the advancement of decentralized governance, providing an unparalleled experience for members to supercharge the network effect for culture and entertainment together. The Moca DAO serves not only to govern the Moca Network but also functions as a DAO of DAOs, an ambitious vision to revolutionize the current DAO landscape.

Members can co-create and implement proposals, known as MIPs. Existing and future $MOCA token utilities can be proposed by the Moca DAO community and approved through the protocol’s governance process. Members can also expand their influence to other DAOs and affiliated partners with Moca DAO’s unique token delegation model. Through this, Moca DAO will enable members to co-build with other DAOs through the cross-DAO impact of $MOCA.

Governance Philosophy

The primary goal of Moca DAO is to drive the widespread adoption of $MOCA by employing a multi-faceted approach. This involves the facilitation of public infrastructure development that allows partners and their networks to seamlessly integrate $MOCA in a composable manner. By ensuring accessibility to a diverse user base, the engagement within the ecosystem is amplified, thereby enabling the network effects to flourish and create a self-reinforcing cycle of growth.

Moca DAO aims to set new benchmarks for decentralized yet accountable leadership, collaboration, and decision-making among web3 nation-states. The DAO will seek to innovate in governance, culture, and growth. To achieve this, the Moca DAO shall foster an environment where members are empowered to propose, discuss, and vote on MIPs that aim to increase the distribution and utility of $MOCA and offer public goods to drive the network effect.

Moca DAO strives to be the future DAO of DAOs. Through innovative token delegation models, holding $MOCA means holders are empowered with meaningful governance rights in other communities. As such, $MOCA can be seen as a medium for cross-pollination and collaboration between Moca DAO and other leading DAOs.

In crafting the forthcoming framework, we shall persist in seeking inspiration from diverse governance paradigms established by other DAOs (such as UNI, OP, and MKR), where our members can collectively shape and participate in this progressive journey.
